南极监测的详细介绍

Mawson's Hut, a symbol of Australia's historic past, is one of agroup of four historic structures and other relics associated withthe 1911-1914 Australian Antarctic Expedition. Located on CapeDenison, the site is recognised as the windiest place on Earth atsea level. On average, the daily maximum wind speed is 44 mph, andthe temperature ranges from 0° to -20°C. The site consists of fourbuildings: the Main Hut, Magnetograph House, Transit Hut, andAbsolute Magnetic Hut. During the study, the Main Hut was monitoredwith a CR10X datalogger which measured eight temperature/RHsensors, 16 thermocouples, and a solar radiation sensor.
