新西兰火灾监测的详细介绍

Nearly 100 Campbell Scientific weather stations monitormeteorological parameters as part of New Zealand's fire weathernetwork. The stations record temperature, relative humidity, windspeed and direction, and rainfall. Both hourly and daily data fromthe stations are stored. The data is entered into the Fire WeatherIndex component of the New Zealand Fire Danger Rating System. Thestations' ability to operate unattended on low power and withstandenvironmental extremes make them ideal for this kind of monitoring.
